Seniors Unlimited will provide
support, advocacy and services that enable mature adults to remain active,
independent and vital members of their community.
- Care Management
-
Our Care Management Program will assess and identify services
to be provided by Seniors Unlimited and related agencies. Coordination
of these services from agencies such as Social Security, Mental
Health, Department of Social Services, Medicaid, Meals on Wheels,
Behavioral Health Services and Community Long Term Care allow Seniors
Unlimited to become the client's advocate.
- Home Care Services
-
Our Home Care Services Program provides assistance with
household tasks such as light cleaning, shopping, meal preparation,
laundry, communication needs, etc...
- In-home short-term
respite may also be available.
- Medical or personal care
is not provided.
-
- Meals
-
Nutritious meals are available weekdays at each of our centers.
For those unable to attend the congregate dining site, a
home-delivered meal program may provide a level of independence and
contact that prevents or delays institutionalization.
- Transportation
-
Transportation is provided to persons age 60 or older to and from
our centers, medical appointments and shopping. Persons eligible for
Medicaid also receive non-emergency medical transportation services
through Seniors Unlimited.
- Housing
-
Two 24 unit apartment complexes for low income seniors are
operated by Seniors Unlimited. American Legion Seniors Apartments in
Easley and 62 Plaza located in Central are award winning HUD projects.
